Frequently Asked Questions
Is Hess Clinic a walk-in clinic?
Hess Clinic is not a walk-in clinic. We prefer that you call for an appointment. However, for urgent care needs we can usually get you in to see a provider within 24 hours.
How do I know if I have Preventative Care benefits with my insurance carrier?
Simply call the #800 listed on your card.
What should I do if I need a prescription refilled?
Call your pharmacy and request a refill. They will fax us a refill request and we will either authorize it and fax it back, or call you to set up an appointment.
If I think I have an infection, will my provider just call in a prescription for me?
All prescriptions are filled at an office visit. If you are having signs of an infection it is important that you are evaluated by a provider so that we can properly diagnose your condition and provide the best care possible.
I have insurance, but I do not have my card . . . . will you still see me?
Yes, however, you will be asked to pay out-of-pocket at the time of your office visit. When you get your insurance card, bring it to the clinic and we will file your claim immediately. You will receive a refund as soon as we hear from your insurance company.
