Other Services Offered

In addition to providing routine care, Hess Clinic also offers many other services such as Work Comp Injuries, Routine Physicals (Annual, Sports, DOT), Occupational Medicine, Heart Disease Reduction Clinic, Asthma/Allergy Testing, Microdermabrasion and Minor Skin Surgeries.

Occupational Medicine
This service is offered to many of our local employers. Utilizing computerized testing, the Physical Capacity Profile Testing System is able to test all of their new employees to confirm they have the physical capacity to perform the requirements of their new job. The system is designed to help protect employees while lowering workers compensation rates and in turn insurance premiums.

Heart Disease Reduction Clinic
Hess Clinic is able to offer many services to help reduce the risks associated with developing heart disease including Lipid (Cholesterol) Screening with accurate results in less than 10 minutes! We also provide Stress Treadmills which are done right in the clinic as well as counseling to help you manage your cardiac health.

Coumadin Therapy Clinic

Routine Physicals
Along with our many other services, Hess Clinic is able to perform routine physicals including routine Pap Screening, Prostate screening, Sports Physicals for your school age children, Well-Child Checks, and DOT testing.


Recommended Screenings 

Pap Smear: (screens for cervical cancer)
• Every year starting at age 18, or with onset of sexual activity.
• Women who have had a Hysterectomy should  have pap smears every two years if previous results have been normal.

Mammogram: (screen for breast cancer)

• Baseline is recommended between between the ages of 35-40, every 1-2 years from 40-49, and then annually after 50 years of age.

Colon Cancer Screening:
• Hemoccult test cards should be obtained annually beginning at age 50 years and Flex Sigmoidoscopy every five years beginning at age 50.

Osteoporosis Screening:
• DEXA Scan is often recommended to determine risk for osteoporosis (deterioration of bone tissue).
