Katrina Hess, M.D. Dr. Hess is the president of Hess Clinic which she established in October of 2000. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Fort Hays State University and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kansas. Dr. Hess is certified with the American Board of Family Practice. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is Certified with the American Academy of Family Physicians and is also certified with the American Association of Medical Review Officers. Dr. Hess also recently received the Kansas Nurse Practitioner Advocate of the Year award from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Hess enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Kendall Krug and their Children, Laura and Russell as well as taking care of her many animals on their family farm.
Katheryn Black, DO Dr. Katheryn Black joined Hess Clinic in July of 2005. Dr. Black is a member of the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. She received her Bachelor of Science and her MHSA from Arizona State University and her Doctor of Osteopathy Degree from the Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Black lives in Hays with her husband, Dr. James Black and their children.
Brenda Weese, ARNP-C Brenda Weese joined Hess Clinic in June of 2008. She graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Masters of Science degree in Nursing. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau (International Nursing Honor Society) and is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Brenda and her family moved to the Hays area in 1991. She enjoys spending time with her family doing many outdoor activities.
Amy Hale, ARNP-C Amy Hale joined Hess Clinic as an RN in August 2006 and has since expanded her knowledge and completed her Masters of Science in Nursing from Fort Hays State University in May 2009. She has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner at Hess Clinic since June 2009.   Amy is a member of Sigma Theta Tau (International Nursing Honor Society). She has lived in Hays for the past 10 years. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children as well as reading and bowling.
